Meet the Team

Sam Wynn

With a wealth of experience spanning both the financial and military sectors, Sam made the bold decision to prioritise life and financial planning over simply selling investment products. This approach ensures that his clients’ needs always come first, rather than focusing on business targets or the interests of shareholders.

Before founding his own financial planning firm, Sam spent a significant part of his career at Barclays Wealth and Rensburg Sheppard’s, where he honed his skills in wealth management and financial planning. His time at Barclays gave him invaluable insight into the complexities of managing significant assets and helping clients navigate their financial futures. However, Sam recognized that true financial success isn’t just about managing investments—it’s about understanding the unique goals, dreams, and lifestyles of each client.

Prior to his career in finance, Sam served in the Navy as a warfare officer, an experience that instilled in him discipline, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to integrity—qualities that continue to guide his work today. His time in the military also taught him the importance of long-term planning, resilience, and adaptability, skills that seamlessly translate into the world of financial planning.

Driven by these experiences, Sam chose to build a financial advisory practice centred on a more holistic approach. Rather than immediately focusing on investment products, he emphasizes helping clients identify their life goals and create a comprehensive plan to achieve them. By doing so, Sam ensures that every financial decision aligns with their broader life aspirations. This client-first approach, shaped by both his extensive financial background and military service, sets Sam apart from those who prioritise profit margins and shareholder expectations over truly understanding their clients’ needs.
